Why is my course in Blackboard listed as unavailable?
Solution

If you log into Blackboard, and can see your course listed, but it is marked as "unavailable", DO NOT PANIC!

You are actually enrolled in the class, but the instructor has not made the course site available for students to use yet. Blackboard courses are made available by each instructor when they want you to begin using the course site, so you may see some courses available before the start of the semester, some right at the beginning of the semester, and some courses may never be made available by the instructor.

If you have questions about when your course will be made available, you need to contact your instructor. Instructor contact information may be found online at http://www.palomar.edu/onlinedirectory/.
